Assisted Living Facility - Easton, MD
A charming assisted living facility in Easton, MD designed to feed 64 residents x 3 meals per day.
This kitchen was designed for scratch cooking and included plenty of Saturn refrigeration for several days’ needs, a full work area to wash, slice and prep fruits and vegetables, very compact but efficient cooking with a Cleveland combi oven and Garland range with convection base, burners and griddle, chef’s counter for dishing up both hot and cold foods, heated transport cabinet to accommodate memory care residents, and full ventless warewashing equipment. Energy efficiency was one of the project targets and this was accomplished using Energy Star appliances where applicable, super efficient combi oven, low volume HVAC ventilator and Insinger ventless dishmachine.
Of course, cost is always important so going with ventless on the dishwasher eliminated an entire HVAC system saving thousands of dollars.
High quality meals with variety are very important to the client so we had to give them high production equipment in limited space. Combi cooking provides speed, versatility and super high quality, and along with open burner and griddling, we covered all methods for healthy cooking.
End result….happy residents enjoying healthy meals !
